Welcome to Tanzania! You will be picked up from the airport by a Relish of Africa representative and driven to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you will hopefully have time to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime!
Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania and most travelers pass through at some stage.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

You'll be picked up from the hotel early in the morning (around 8:30 am) and start your safari to Tarangire National Park. This is one of the best-kept secrets of the Northern circuit. The park covers an area of 2,850 sq km and it offers some unique and diverse landscapes. The permanent presence of water in the area makes it a good choice especially during the dry season (June - Oct and Dec - Feb) as plenty of wild animals migrate here. The park is home to big baobab trees, big mammals especially elephants, as well as other carnivores. You'll enjoy your lunch inside the park. Later you'll go for an afternoon game drive and afterward an evening transfer to your hotel.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you'll have an early transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park offers some breathtaking sceneries. It is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, as well as for a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. You will be able to spot giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffaloes and a large number of hippos. Some unique facts about this park include its tree-climbing lions, flamingos in the lakeshore, the ground hornbill and the crested eagle. Lunch will be inside the park and in the evening you will return to the lodge.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we'll transfer to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro area. Who hasn’t heard of the Serengeti? It’s the most desirable and ultimate safari experience, the land of endless plains. It covers an area of 14,760 sq km divided roughly into short grass and woodland area. It’s the land of the nomadic Masaai and it's also known for its wildlife density and the annual wildebeest migration. Don’t miss the opportunity to live this experience. Lunch will be served inside the park. You'll have an afternoon game drive and in the evening you'll return to the lodge.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park - karatu

Serengeti National Park - karatu

We'll have an early morning game drive in central Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon we will transfer to Karatu through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is one of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites since 1979. Ngorongoro covers 8,200 sq km and it is part and parcel of the broader Serengeti ecosystem. It is often called the 8th Wonder of the World because it has it all: stunning landscapes, wildlife density, and a mankind community Masaai community co-existing in perfect harmony with wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater caldera is intact and it hosts the very rare black rhino. It also has the largest concentration of wildlife per square km in the world. Words alone cannot express the beauty of Ngorongoro. You have to see for yourself what this majestic place is all about. Day 7

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning transfer to Ngorongoro crater and descending down to the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. The Crater was voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in 2013 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Approximately 30,000 animals live in the crater. This is one of the few places in Africa where guests stand a great chance of seeing the entire Big Five in the course of a single game drive. Lunch and game drive inside the crater. At evening we begin our return to Arusha for overnight or transfer to your preferred location.
