Day 1

Begin your safari with an early morning pickup from the hotel (around 8:30am) and head to Tarangire National Park. Often regarded as one of the best-kept secrets of the northern circuit, the park spans an area of 2,850 sq km and features unique and diverse landscapes. Its year-round water presence makes it an excellent place to visit, particularly during the dry season (June - Oct, Dec - Feb) when it attracts a migration of diverse wildlife. The park boasts big baobab trees, large mammals (especially elephants), and carnivores. Enjoy lunch within the park and then embark on an afternoon game drive. In the evening you’ll be transferred back to the camp.

After an early breakfast, you’ll transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Lake Manyara boasts breathtaking sceneries and is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, mahogany trees, and its growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. You’ll spot giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffaloes, and a significant number of hippos. Unique features of this park include tree-climbing lions, flamingos along the lakeshore, as well as the ground hornbill and the crested eagle. Enjoy lunch within the park and return to the camp in the evening.

In the early morning, you’ll transfer to Ngorongoro Crater and descend to the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It was voted one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Approximately 30,000 animals live here. Ngorongoro is one of the few places in Africa where guests have a great chance of seeing the entire “Big Five” during a single game drive. You’ll eat lunch inside the crater. In the evening, we’ll return Arusha for your overnight stay or transfer you to your preferred location.
