Pick Up and Start the Panorama Route

Be met by our guide off your flight at Johannesburg Airport or picked up from any hotel/lodge/accommodation address in Johannesburg /Pretoria/Nelspruit/Kruger Park and head for the Panorama Route before or after your Kruger Safari booked with Mmilo Tours. If starting in Johannesburg, it is necessary to depart before 8:00 am as the earlier you can start the more sites can be visited. We will stop en route for a quick "on the go" snack lunch. Once over the Long Tom Pass ( if coming from Johannesburg), we journey through the forestry town of Sabie ( from Nelspruit direct) and misty Graskop village at the edge of the escarpment with its famous lift down into the deep leafy subtropical hardwood forest in the gorge below. Usually, on this day, we go to God’s Window and Lisbon Waterfalls but if coming from northern or mid-Kruger we might choose to go to the Three Rondawels viewpoint of the Blyde Canyon first. It depends on which part of Kruger Park you are going to and where we start.

Complete the Panorama Route Before Heading to the Kruger (or back to Nelpruit/Johannesburg region)

Rise up early this morning for breakfast at the hotel. Our guide will then complete the rest of the Panorama Route Tour not covered the day before, all entrance fees and a light lunch are included. There are some stimulating but not too strenuous walks to the various viewpoints and waterfalls to be done. This together with the clean high mountain air will give you an appetite! But do wear good walking shoes, a hat, and sunscreen on both days of this tour. Finally, but only if you are going to northern/mid-Kruger we traverse the Abel Erasmus Pass ( only if proceeding to or from mid- Kruger area), which also has many unusual attractions including a “Tufa” waterfall and more dramatic mountain scenery. Your guide will drop you at your Kruger area safari location in the afternoon (or back to Johannesburg or the local town of Nelspruit if doing this tour at the end of your safari. You can supply us with the exact drop-off address anywhere in the regions mentioned.
