Dar es Salaam - Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve)

Meet your guide at the place of your stay in Tanzania at 7:30 am, and drive 5 to 6 hours to Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). Upon arrival in the afternoon at your lodge, you will participate in a boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River, where you will spot plenty of hippos, crocodiles and birdlife. Later, you'll proceed to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve)

You'll enjoy a full day of game viewing in the reserve. Participate in some classic–style game drives, exploring the bush in open 4x4 vehicles. Waterbuck, southern reedbuck, and bushbuck are common in the Selous. Rare sable antelopes, lions, and greater kudu are also frequent in this area. Meals and your overnight stay are full board (dinner, breakfast, and lunch).

Nyerere - Mikumi National Park

Depart from Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) towards Mikumi, with game drives en route in the northern part of Nyerere National Park. The highlight of the day includes a rich variety of bird species and other mammals, including giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, African wild dogs, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, and many more. Then, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Mikumi - Dar es Salaam

An early breakfast at the camp is followed by morning game drives, which will take you to lunchtime. After lunch, you will be driven back to Dar es Salaam. It will take 5 to 6 hours to drive back to Dar es Salaam, where you will be dropped off at the place of your choice.
