Day 1

Depart for Lake Mburo National Park

Depart for Lake Mburo National Park

Have your early morning breakfast and thereafter, your guide will meet you and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park which is located in the south western part of the country. Along the way you will have several stopovers such as Mpambiire drum makers point where you will get a chance of buying yourself souvenirs, and at the Equator where you will have a great time and take enough photos. You will arrive at the park early afternoon, and have lunch at the lodge, check in as you prepare for the game drive with in the park. During the game drive you will get chance to see different wildlife species such as Kobs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, water hogs and impalas among others
Return to the lodge in the evening, Have dinner and an overnight.

Day 2

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Have an early morning breakfast, after then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, as you drive you will enjoy the great volcanic landscape with rolling hills covered with vegetation. Have your lunch en-route as you travel and later approach the park, which harbors over 340 individuals of mountain gorillas. The park has four main tracked gorilla groups with 12 gorilla families which are visited daily by the gorilla trackers. As you drive, you will enjoy many banana plantations and steep hills allover and you will arrive at the park late afternoon.
If time allows, you might opt for a guided nature walk with in the park in the evening or relax at your lodge to prepare for the tracking of gorillas the next day.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking- Bwindi Forest

Gorilla Trekking- Bwindi Forest

Have an early morning breakfast, thereafter proceed to the park headquarters to have a briefing about what to do and no to do while trekking gorillas in the forest. The rangers will then guide to you to and through the rainforest as you start trekking searching for mountain gorillas. It is not easy to tell how long the tracking would take since it entirely depends on the location of these gentle giants, but in most cases it takes between 2 to 8 hours. Trekkers are always advised to carry enough water, snacks, boots and raincoats since the weather is unpredictable in most cases, also remember that tracking needs you to be physically strong. On sighting the gorillas, the ranger guides will tell you what to do and how to behave while near the gorillas especially standing 6 meters away from them. After the trek, head back to your lodge for lunch. You could choose to unwind at the lodge or visit the Batwa community & have great time watching them dance & sing through cultural performances.

Day 4

Explore Lake Mutanda by boat/canoe

Explore Lake Mutanda by boat/canoe

After your breakfast, you shall set out for a boat / canoe ride on Lake Mutanda, observe the lush landscape with the Virunga volcanoes forming a striking backdrop. Visit some of the Islands on the lake. One of them is the punishment island where misfits in society were brought and left to die. Skeletal remains can be seen on the island. Another is the python island which harbors huge Pythons which may be found sunbathing on the grass.

Day 5

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National via Ishasha sector

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National via Ishasha sector

Have your breakfast and thereafter start your journey through the Savannah vegetation, you will also pass via the Ishasha sector where you will get a chance of viewing the tree climbing lions and many other animal species as you approach Queen Elizabeth National Park. This national park is famous for this channel which is known as the Kazinga channel connecting both Lake Edward and Lake George and has variety of wildlife species including the crocodiles, hippos, birds, buffaloes etc.
On your arrival at the park, you will have lunch and later go for an evening game drive were you will be able to view many animals including the elephants, kobs, antelopes, warthogs, waterbucks, etc. After, return to the lodge to enjoy your dinner and overnight. Day 6-7

Game drive and an afternoon boat cruise

Game drive and an afternoon boat cruise

You will start your morning game drive so early, so this will require you to be up very early, with this you will be able to see very many animals along the Kasenyi track, you will also be able to view different animals such as elephants, antelopes, water bucks, buffaloes, lions, kobs among others.
After the game drive, head back to the lodge your breakfast, relax and later have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. You will have a great time cruising along the Kazinga channel and getting a chance to view water birds such as the saddle billed stork, pink backed pelicans, the malachite kingfishers and animals such as crocodiles, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, feeding along the channel. Later in the evening, head back to the Lodge, have dinner, and spend the night.
