Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet our representative and drive to Arusha Coffee Lodge for Dinner and overnight stay. Lying on the gently rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, that you will find Arusha Coffee Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before or after any East African safari.

Day 2

Arusha - Ngorongoro

We depart Arusha in the morning after breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. ur game drive will start here today. There is a profusion of wildlife in this small national park, and the amazing bird watching experience will certainly be rewarding to both a devote and first-time bird watcher. It is as well among the few places on the African continent to see the tree-climbing lions. Manyara in addition prides in a large flock of beautiful pink flamingoes found near the lake. Lunch at picnic site. Later drive to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for Dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast descend to the crater for a day of game viewing, the crater teems with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, and also the rare black rhino. The beautiful colors and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. After lunch proceed with game en route to Serengeti National Park for Dinner and overnight at &Beyond Serengeti Under Canvas Camp.

A full day of game driving around the Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the location of the great migration herds, you may see huge numbers of wildebeest, and big cats, hyenas and other predators near to them – looking to hunt an easy meal. All year round you can see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species of animals. Back to your Camp later for Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast you will start driving towards Isebania border where you will have a paper work and proceed to Maasai Mara. The road towards the Kenyan border is a long and adventurous one, but it should be worth it as the “Mara” is reputed to have the highest lion population of all reserves in Africa. Other large cats also live here and can be spotted all year round, as their sightings are not dependent upon the seasons or the great migration. You will have Dinner and overnight at &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp.

Today shall be spent at the Masai Mara on unlimited game viewing drives.

The Masai Mara ecosystem hosts the highest concentration of wild animals per sq km than any other game reserve in the region. Elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo, antelope, warthog, hyena and many more animal species may be seen.
Simply stated, the Masai Mara is a one stop for game and scenery viewing. You shall carry a picnic lunch and spend entire day on game viewing drives for maximum wildlife sightings. And during August, you will get a chance to experience the crossing of wildebeest and zebras from Serengeti Tanzania to Maasai Mara. Dinner and overnight at &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp.
