Nairobi to Samburu National reserve

Pick up from the airport/ hotel and after safari briefing you shall be dropped at the airport for your flight to Samburu. You will arrive at Samburu airstrip and the team will receive you and transfer you to the camp where you will check-in and have lunch before heading out later on an evening game drive. Later in the evening you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Samburu

After breakfast, you will enjoy morning & afternoon gae drives in the reserve. Be on the lookout for special flora and fauna found in this place. The dry area has rough terrain but is blessed with very rare species only found in the reserve. You will see the reticulated giraffe, Gravy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, and a variety of birds. You may also have the chance to come across the “Big Five”. Some of the best places to spot wildlife are around the Ewaso Nyiro River where they gather to quench their thirst while the carnivores take advantage and hunt the weak here. Later in the evening you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay at your camp.
