Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up early in the morning from the airport. You will be transferred to where the tour starts, with a stopover at a local restaurant for your breakfast. You will be picked up by the driver and head southwards to Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and relax. Afterwards, have an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Enjoy an exploratory drive around the 1,792sq km game park with its low hills and savannah type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River, and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the variety of antelopes, the Masai giraffe, and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black maned lion, cheetah, and leopard. Also to be seen are the largest bird, the Masai ostrich, the Secretary bird, the crested crane and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river. You'll return to your lodge by sunset. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Miti Mingi Eco Camp (on full board basis).

Masai Mara National Reserve Full-Day Game Driving

You can have the optional early morning balloon safari ride (US$450 per person), across the Masai Mara plains. Have breakfast at the lodge then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here; the Mara is noted for its abundance of lions, particularly the superb black maned males. See the great migration where over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes cross the mighty Mara River. Experience the battle between survival and hunger. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds. If you're lucky, you may see the leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes, and enjoy yourselves! In the evening, visit a Maasai village.

Day 3

You'll be woken up by marching elephants and sounds of birds. Have breakfast at your lodge. Check out and drive through the cool Rift Valley environment towards Nakuru. Drive through the park and arrive at your camp in time for lunch. After lunch, have an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
Lake Nakuru is a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the Lake. Located in the middle of the Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru has a wide variety of animals which includes the Rothschild giraffes, lions, white and black rhinos, as well as the leopard. All these can be spotted depending on your luck. The park is also considered by birdwatchers as an ornithological paradise! A myriad of both Greater and Lesser flamingoes have made this lake their home.

Have breakfast at the hotel then you will depart for Hells Gate National Park, where you'll have a game drive at the park. Today your lunch will be a picnic. Later you will depart to Lake Naivasha—here you will do the boat ride and bird watching (extra cost $25 per person). Later, you will depart to have dinner and rest at your guest house.

Have a hot breakfast at the hotel. At 8.30 am, drive to Amboseli National Park where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive. Afterwards, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. During your game drive, you will be searching for the big herds of the African elephants, cheetahs, lions, the gazelles, and the elusive elands. If the weather permits, you will be able to have a magnificent view of the Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight stay are at Kimana Camp (on full board basis).
