Meru National Park an unspoiled, magnificent wilderness

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00am by our expedition Kenya safari driver/guide for your transfer to the magnificent Meru National park. The park was made famous by the writings of Joy Adamson, most noted for her book "Born Free," a true story of Elsa, the lioness, and her return into the wild.

We anticipate arriving in time for late lunch at iKweta Safari Camp, located close to the main gate. The iKweta Safari Camp is small, intimate, and tastefully decorated, offering an excellent guest experience. Our first and much-anticipated game drive will begin at 400:pm in our custom safari 4X4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for a 360-degree wildlife and scenery view. Next, we shall explore the park as we search for wildlife while enjoying spectacular views.

Afterward, we shall return to your en-suite tented camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Game Drives in Meru National Park

After an early breakfast, we shall embark on an extended morning game drive where we will continue exploring Meru National Park's untamed wilderness. Finally, we shall return to the camp in time for lunch.

Another option is to go on an early morning game drive, from 6:30am until around 8:00am, followed by breakfast.

You can spend the afternoon enjoying a dip in the swimming pool while sipping on Tusker beer or cocktail fruit drinks. Another exciting game drive is at 4:00pm as we once more explore the surprises Meru National Park has in store for us.

Afterward, we shall return to your ensuite tented camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
