1-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Hiking via Marangu Route

• You'll be collected from the airport.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide and drive to Marangu Gate in Kilimanjaro National Park, where you will complete the registration process before beginning your trek. The trail passes through lush montane rainforest, home to towering trees, colorful birdlife, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. As you ascend, enjoy the unique scenery and peaceful atmosphere of Africa’s highest mountain.

Upon reaching Mandara Hut, you will have time to rest and enjoy your packed lunch. You may also take a short walk to Maundi Crater, which offers beautiful views of Northern Tanzania and, on clear days, Kenya. Afterwards, you will descend back to Marangu Gate and transfer to Moshi or Arusha.
