1-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Hiking via Marangu Route

• You'll be collected from the airport.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide and drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (about 1 hour/ 2 hours) to register and commence the climb. You will walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment. A side trip to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rainforest, you will look for towering Eucalyptus trees, birdlife, and Colobus monkeys.

After lunch, you will hike back to the park gate and drive back to Moshi or Arusha.
