You will be picked up at your hotel or airport and start your safari with an approximate two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. The park’s offerings are enormous but it is best known for its savannah, seasonal swamps, and baobab trees along with a large number of elephant herds. During the dry season, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the region. It attracts a considerable number of animals such as bushbucks, hartebeests, and giraffes, not only from the park, but also from neighboring areas like Lake Manyara.
You will have an extensive game drive in the park and later you will drive to Kizumba Tented Camp for an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we proceed to Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We then head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at the Serengeti Seronera Campsite.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Go on an early-morning game drive and then proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will stop at Olduvai Gorge, boasting a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the anthropologists Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of "Nutcracker Man" and "Handy Man", both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.
In the late afternoon, you transfer to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite where you will have dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards (which sometimes require a trained eye to spot).
We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of hippos, flamingos, and other waterbirds can usually be seen here. In the late afternoon, we transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight or an airport drop-off.
