Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After you have cleared with the immigration department, you will be met by an African Paradise Safaris representative. You will be transferred to your hotel for overnight at Four Points by Sheraton Arusha.

Day 2

From Arusha to Tarangire National Park

From Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Hot breakfast in the hotel at your leisure and our tour guide will meet you at the hotel. He will give you a safari briefing of the day and then you depart for Tarangire National Park for your game drive, Tarangire is the sixth largest national park and covers an area of approximately 2,600 square kilometers. Tarangire is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. Stay overnight at Osupuko Tarangire Tented Lodge.

From Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

From Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

You will have breakfast at the lodge and later depart for Lake Manyara. Do a whole day game drive in the park – Today you will have a picnic bush lunch. Later in the evening drive to the lodge for your dinner and overnight. This impressive park is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa's largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. All meals and overnight at Eileen's Retreat Inn.

From Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park

From Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at the lodge depart to Serengeti National Park, where you will arrive in time for lunch. Later enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park. Return to the lodge for leisure and dinner. Tanzania's Serengeti offers superb game-viewing even out of migration time, when vast herds of buffalo, eland, topi, waterbuck, impala, kongoni, and Grant’s gazelle can be seen grazing in the thousands. The Serengeti is famous not only for its migrating wildebeest and herbivores but also for its high concentration of big cats and other predators that these grazers attract. The Serengeti is also home to smaller cats, such as the caracal and serval, as well as jackal, fox, mongoose, and genet. Visit Maasai villages in the afternoon (extra cost).

Full day game driving in the Serengeti plains. The endless, almost treeless grassland of the south is the most emblematic scenery of the park. Hoofed animals like – zebra, gazelle, impala, hartebeest, topi, buffalo, waterbuck also occur in huge numbers during the wet season. Kopjes are granite flotations that are very common in the region, and they are great observation posts for predators, as well as a refuge for hyrax and pythons.

Day 6

From Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

From Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

Today you will leave the camp early in the morning for an early morning game drive, with a picnic breakfast. Later you will head back to the camp for your lunch. Then in the afternoon, you will drive to the Ngorongoro crater, where you will arrive in the next 2 hours. Relax and enjoy a swim at the lodge, waiting for your dinner and overnight at Rhino lodge.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a crater tour with packed lunch. This is a world heritage site, the incomparable Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest “caldera”. Dominated by cliffs standing some 600 meters high and presenting a sheer drop down to a wide-open space of some 246 square km, you may see everything from elephant to lion, and if you’re lucky, the near-extinct black rhino, all amongst large herds of zebra and wildebeest. You will have a picnic lunch today. After lunch, you will depart for Arusha, where you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. From Zanzibar, the driver will transfer you to your beach resort for your dinner and overnight.
