Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, check out and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok, the largest Maasai town. Proceed to the reserve and check in at the Sentrim Hotel and Lodge for lunch. At 4 pm, you will embark on an afternoon game drive.
As the land of Big Cat Diary and Disney’s African Cats, the Masai Mara is at the top of most people’s Kenyan safari wishlists. The location of the "great migration" – one of the natural wonders of the world – is a gloriously beautiful, wildlife-rich savannah landscape. It was once described by the eminent biologist Julian Huxley as "the only easily accessible and readily studied remaining portion of the world’s pre-human climax community at its tropical richest". It’s also a region where traditionally dressed Maasai still herd their cattle and goats in a lifestyle that, in some respects, hasn’t changed much since they first arrived here 350 years ago.
You will return to the lodge before dusk for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara National Reserve (Game Drives)
Rise early for breakfast. Then, prepare for a great full-day game drive and picnic lunch along the Mara River. The park is known for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lion, cheetah, and leopard.
We will also see many elephants, Maasai giraffes, common zebras, impalas, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, topis, hartebeests, black-backed jackals, spotted hyenas and more. You also have the option of visiting a Maasai cultural village.
The Maasai are proud pastoralists and warriors. Spend time in a “manyatta” and immerse yourself in one of the Earth’s oldest cultures. The ladies and children will entertain you with traditional songs, and see how they go about their daily lives in a very traditional way, like making fire with stones and sticks. You will then return to the lodge before dusk for dinner and overnight.
