Karibu Tanzania! Today our guide will collect you after breakfast from your hotel to start your safari. He will brief you about the safari, the schedule and what to expect. The drive to Tarangire will take about 2 hours. Enjoy the beautiful views of the local villages and Maasai herds on the way.
If you’ve never been to Tarangire (and even if you have) you’re in for a real treat. Tarangire is filled with giants – baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants. Of the big cats, you’ll probably see lions, cheetahs and leopards are around too. Watch out for the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. Our guide will take you off the beaten track and share stories about the park and the natural world around you.
As you enjoy your meal at the picnic site, the sound of birds singing and the rustling of leaves in the wind will add to the peaceful and serene atmosphere of the moment. Later we leave Tarangire behind us and drive towards the beautiful Marera Valley Lodge.

Serengeti National Park
We'll depart after breakfast and head towards Serengeti National Park, where we will arrive around lunch time. The Serengeti is one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations. We'll explore the vast plains in search of the Big Five and other animals. The Serengeti’s scenery is also unforgettable – observe Africa’s iconic acacia trees, the park’s golden grasslands and great piles of boulders known as kopjes.
As the sun begins to set, the experience isn't over yet - the journey back to your lodge can be just as exciting. As you make your way through the park, you might catch glimpses of wildlife that are more active in the evening hours. The changing colors of the sky, the warm glow of the setting sun add to the magic of the moment. You'll overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp which is located in the central part of the Serengeti National Park.

North Serengeti National Park
This is the day you have been waiting for! We depart early in the morning and drive to Serengeti north. As you set out on your game drive, the open savannah will unfold before you, heightening your senses as you listen to the sounds of nature and scan the horizon for any signs of movement.
Venturing close to the Mara river, you might start to see vast herds of wildebeests, with their shaggy manes and sweeping horns, grazing peacefully. You may also encounter predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas who are always on the lookout for their next meal.
During this season, you may also witness one of the most awe-inspiring sights in the animal kingdom – the wildebeest river crossing. As the herds move towards the Mara River, they must navigate treacherous waters filled with crocodiles and strong currents. The excitement and tension in the air during this event are palpable, and it's a moment you'll never forget.
As the sun sets, you'll make your way to Mara River, Savannah Camp.

Serengeti north to central
Driving back from North Serengeti to Central Serengeti is a journey through a vast and diverse landscape that showcases the incredible beauty of this region of Tanzania. As you leave the North behind, you'll be treated to a journey that's as breathtaking as it is unforgettable.
The route from North Serengeti to Central Serengeti is a scenic one, with plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the incredible views. Along the way, you'll pass through rugged terrain and open savannahs, with rolling hills and towering rocky outcrops providing a dramatic backdrop.
One of the highlights of the journey is the chance to see more wildlife as you make your way back towards Central Serengeti and overnight at Serengeti Wildebeest Camp.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Today we wake up early and start the day with a beautiful sunrise game drive. There's something truly magical about experiencing the African wilderness at sunrise, and a sunrise game drive is one of the best ways to do so. The early morning is an incredible time to spot some of the park's most elusive and active wildlife, including lions, leopards, and hyenas. The cooler temperatures and softer light create the perfect conditions for a memorable safari adventure, as you journey through the park's vast savannahs and grasslands.
In the afternoon, it will be time to head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of the most stunning and unique parks in Tanzania. The journey to the park is an adventure in itself, as you traverse winding roads through breathtaking scenery.

Ngorongoro crater
A game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater is a highlight of any safari adventure in Tanzania. This unique natural wonder is home to an incredible array of wildlife, from herds of grazing antelope to majestic lions and towering elephants.
Journeying through the crater on a game drive, you'll have the chance to spot some of the park's most iconic species, including black rhinoceros, hippos, and wildebeest. Your experienced guide will share insights into the ecology of the region, as well as stories and facts about the fascinating behaviors of the park's many species.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a particularly special location for a game drive due to its enclosed nature. Surrounded by towering walls, the crater forms a natural amphitheater that makes it easy to spot a wide range of wildlife. You'll travel through lush forests and open savannahs, taking in breathtaking views of the crater floor and its many inhabitants.
In the afternoon your guide will take you back to Arusha.
