Arusha to Lake Manyara Park

After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up at your hotel in Arusha and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Later, we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its biodiversity. The park includes many different environments - a lake, a forest, and the plains. The lions climb the trees because they don't like the wet soil due to the underground springs. The park is also rich in primates, birds, and big mammals.

Karatu - Serengeti

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti Game Drive

You'll spend a full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation then finish with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you could do a full day game drive with a picnic lunch.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour - Eileen's Trees Inn

On the 4th day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 6 -hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4hr drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off to your preferred location. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish.

Tarangire Game Drive Back to Arusha

Pick up at 8:00 AM from your hotel in Karatu and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to Arusha for overnight or back home.
