Transfer From the Airport

Upon arrival in Livingstone, you will be met by a Zambezi Expedition representative and transferred to your hotel. The driver-guide will assist you with your luggage from the airport to the hotel. You will spend the rest of your day at leisure. At 16h00, you will be picked up from your hotel to enjoy a 2-hour sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel, where you will be briefed about the tour itinerary.

Livingstone, Zambia

After breakfast, you will do a walking tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The majesty of Victoria Falls is the major tourist attraction here. The Tonga people named it Mosi o Tunya, meaning the "smoke that thunders". The remainder of the day is at leisure, and there are optional activities to partake in, such as helicopter rides over the falls and high-wire activities.

There is an opportunity to visit the Zimbabwean side of the falls as an optional activity.

Livingstone to Chobe National Park

This morning, the tour takes you to Chobe National Park in Botswana, approximately 100km west of Victoria Falls. It is home to 450 species of birds and the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. You will be picked up from your hotel at 07h10 for the transfer to Botswana. You will be met at Kazungula by your guide and escorted through the immigration formalities.

At 09h30, you will board the boat and commence a 3-hour boat cruise into the Chobe National Park. The river cruise is considered one of the highlights of the trip, as you can get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, and, of course, scores of elephant and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. The boat cruise ends at the Coffee Buzz at 12h30. After a satisfying meal, there is an opportunity to do an afternoon game drive at 15h00. At around 18h00, you will return to the lodge to rest for the evening.

Transfer to an Airport of Your Choice

You will be woken up at dawn to get ready for the transfer to Livingstone. After breakfast, you pack and prepare to leave the lodge on the last drive. All clients will be dropped off at their respective airports in Kasane, Victoria Falls and Livingstone, marking the end of the trip.
