Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Tarangire National Park for a day of game viewing. The park's landscape is dotted with huge baobab trees, some believed to be over 700 years old. During the dry season, elephants often debark these trees to get moisture from them. Tarangire is at its peak during the dry season from June to October. This is when the seasonal migration of wildebeest, zebra, and elands is at its height, as the life-giving Tarangire River attracts them when all the water pools outside the park are dry. Game viewing during these months is amazing, especially for big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The park is also home to the biggest elephant population, estimated at around 2,500. Other animals include giraffes, impala, baboons, buffalo, and antelope species such as the fringe-eared oryx and lesser kudu. In the late evening, exit the park and proceed to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll drive up into the cooler regions of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. When you first see Ngorongoro Crater, it looks like a forgotten world. Concealed by steep volcanic walls is a pristine wilderness, including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, and glistening lakes and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago, covering an area of 260 km². It is famous for both its geological wonders and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest populations of large mammals in Africa.
As you descend into the crater, you'll quickly find yourself among large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. Ngorongoro provides the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino. After exploring the crater, you'll transit through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, entering through the Nabi gate.

Serengeti National Park - Karatu
The Serengeti is truly spectacular, famous for its vast open grasslands that offer excellent wildlife sightings. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely unchanged for millions of years. While it boasts abundant wildlife, it is best known for the annual Great Migration. This migration sees vast numbers of wildebeest, along with large numbers of zebra and antelope, constantly moving in search of fresh grazing. The migration can be found during any month; it's just a matter of knowing where to look! Besides the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators such as lion, cheetah, and leopard. It's a truly life-changing experience. In the afternoon, you'll start your journey back to Karatu, hopefully enjoying more wonders along the way!

Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha
Leave the lodge after an early breakfast and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park with a packed lunch in hand for game viewing. The park is home to the famous tree-climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and big troops of baboons. More than 400 species of birds have been recorded here, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 50 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and giraffes. After lunch, we’ll leave the park and head to Arusha. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward connection.
