Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi

Our guide will pick you up at Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali and transfer you to your hotel in the Southern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The journey from Kigali will take you through the winding hills of Rwanda and southwestern Uganda until you arrive at your lodge.

Gorilla trekking experience

After breakfast, the driver guide will transfer you to the briefing point, where you will receive instructions on how to conduct yourself in the forest once you locate the gorillas. After the briefing, you will be divided into groups according to the gorilla family you will track.

Flash photography is not allowed, and prolonged eye contact with gorillas is discouraged, as it is a sign of challenging them. The trek takes anything from minutes to hours to search for the gorillas, depending on where they nested the previous night.

Transfer back to Kigali

After an exciting experience with gorillas in the wild, you are ready to start your journey back to Kigali, where you will be transferred to the airport or destination of your choice in Kigali.
