Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Pick up from Nairobi is at 7.00 am, where we’ll take you on a drive through typical African savanna. You’ll pass local homesteads and catch glimpses of Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. You’ll arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for lunch.

After you’ve had time to rest, we’ll take you into the park for your first African safari experience. On your game viewing drive, we’ll be on the look out for the stars of the Amboseli – elephants, lions, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and a whole load more.

The backdrop to your Kenyan adventure is Mount Kilimanjaro, its snow-capped peak dominates the skyline as Africa’s highest mountain. Marvel at the natural beauty of the awe-inspiring plains, home to a massively diverse ecosystem of animals.

Following your first adventure into the Kenyan wilds, you’ll head back to your camp for dinner and a good night’s rest.

On arrival at your Lake Nakuru accommodation, there will be time to freshen up before departing on an afternoon game drive. For many, the highlight of this national park is the prolific birdlife, in particular the thousands of flamingos and other waterfowl that visit the lake to feed and breed.
