Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) or the pick-up from your hotel, our representative will meet and brief you about the safari. From here, you will depart and drive towards the Nairobi Wilson Airport and board your domestic departure flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. On arrival, the lodge representative will receive you and transfer you to the luxury tented camp. Upon arrival at the luxury tented camp, you will check in and enjoy lunch at the camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Your dinner and overnight stay are at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You will spend the entire day at the reserve on a shared morning, and evening game drives, searching for wild animals with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can carry a picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp.

Mara is the land of African legend, where lions, elephants, giraffes, zebra, and a variety of gazelles are abundant throughout the park. Cheetahs and leopards are regularly seen, but less frequently, rhinos. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September. When traveling during this timeframe, big animals and their predators are abundant. In addition, several species of bee-eaters, the flying rainbow that tops the list of birds found in the Mara, can be spotted.

As well as wildlife, the Masai Mara is home to the colorful Maasai tribe, who you will see around the park's borders. These Maasai warriors are called Morans. In the evening, you will return to the camp for your dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

Have an early breakfast, and depending on the time of your domestic departure flight, we will transfer you to the airstrip for your return to Nairobi. On arrival at the Nairobi Wilson Airport, our representative will meet you and drop you off at the Nairobi CBD or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your final departure.
