Masai Mara is the heart of Kenyan tourism, with large species of mammals, amphibians, and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve. You will leave Entim Mara after breakfast to Keekorok Airstrip for your flight to Serengeti Seronera Airstrip, where our Tanzania guide will be waiting to pick you up and drive to the camp with a game drive en route. The magic of Serengeti National Park is not easy to describe in words. Not only seeing but also hearing the buzz of millions of wildebeest so thick in the air that it vibrates through your entire body is something you will try to describe to friends and family before realising it’s impossible. Vistas of honey-lit plains at sunset are so beautiful that it’s worth the trip just to witness this. The genuine smiles of the Maasai people give you an immediate warming glow inside. The crater formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago. It is 2,000 feet deep (609 m), and its floor covers 100 square miles (259 sq km). This incredible natural amphitheater is teeming with massive bull elephants, leopards, rhinos, wildebeests, buffalos, and the highest concentration of lions in Africa. You'll enjoy a day of game driving before transferring to your lodging.
