2 travelers on Start dateArusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. You will embark on a full-day game drive in the park and eat a hot meal for lunch. Towards the evening, we will drive to your luxury tented camp for dinner around the campfire dinner and your overnight stay.
The park is slightly off the main safari route and towards the quieter northern Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is famous for its elephant migration, birding, and peaceful, authentic safari atmosphere. Unfortunately, most travelers to the region either miss out on Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for only a short while, leaving parts of Tarangire unexplored.

The jewel of Ngorongoro Conservation Area is the Ngorongoro Crater, a deep, volcanic crater, the world's largest unflooded and unbroken caldera. This breathtaking natural wonder is about 20km across, 600m deep, and covers 300km2.
We will visit one of the crater's main features, Lake Magadi, a large, shallow, alkaline lake in the southwestern corner. Many flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are usually seen here.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we depart and drive to Serengeti National Park. We will have a hot lunch before checking in at the camp. Dinner and our overnight stay are at the Acacia Seronera Luxury Camp.
Serengeti National Park is well known for a couple of reasons: the number of resident animals, including the Big Five, named after the five most prized trophies hunters took. Further, it is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due to the abundance of prey in the area. More than 3000 lions live in this ecosystem. Another reason is the African leopard, a reclusive predator commonly seen in the Seronera region but present throughout the park with an estimated population of around 1 000. The African elephant roams the area in great numbers.
