On arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide, who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Entebbe International Airport, and you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.

On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking; this activity is truly one of a kind in Uganda, the pearl of Africa.

After the rhino tracking, you will be driven to Murchison Falls National Park.

Your first tourist attraction in the park is the top of the falls, which are the most powerful waterfalls in the whole world. It is a breathtaking experience that brings you very close to these magnificent falls, where the Nile forces its way through a gorge in the rocks and tumbles 43m below flowing westwards into Lake Albert.

Then you will go for a short evening game drive around the park.

Day 2

Embark on an early morning game drive on the Northern bank where your guide will help you spot a great number of animals and birds. The famous Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area, home to more than 73 animal species, including buffaloes, leopards, lions, and elephants, 3/4 of the world’s population of Rothschild giraffes plus a healthy population of herbivores. In addition to 451 bird species, including 23 Albertine rift endemics.

You will end back at the lodge for lunch and rest till 2 pm for an afternoon boat ride. You will safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls. There you can marvel at toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over the 17-kilometer stretch, you may also see elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs. This is also the habitat for many bird species.

You will go for an evening game drive after your boat ride.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will be travel from Murchison Falls National park, driving Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori.

You will arrive in Fort portal late in the evening. If time allow, you will visit the Crater Lakes. This makes it a very interesting day adventure and can be done while staying in Fort Portal.

Day 4

After breakfast, head out to the park head offices with your guide and a packed lunch and have a briefing about the Do’s and Don’ts while in the park with the chimpanzees.

The tracking will start early after breakfast and takes about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimps.

After the trek, you will go back to the resort for lunch and then visit Bigodi Swamp. This is a beautiful area in the rain forest with an abundance of animals: monkeys, birds and maybe forest elephants.

After visiting Bigodi, you will drive to Sempaya hot springs which are the main attraction of Semliki National Park. At the springs, you will witness water boiling it’s self-using the natural forces. The strength and hotness of the springs are amazing as one can boil eggs and matooke in a few minutes, it's ready to eat.

After breakfast, you will go to Queen Elizabeth National park. The Park is the largest biotic area in Africa. It is a habitat for a variety of flora and fauna, hippo, tree-climbing lions, elephants, wildebeest, swamp antelope, Uganda-kobs, topis, waterbucks, bushbucks, reedbucks, duiker, and many other animal species. It is home to over 95 species of mammals and over 600 species of birds.

You will check-in at your lodge for lunch, and then head out for a boat ride.

Enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Some of the best wildlife viewings are done on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, passing squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffalo and hippo, basking crocodiles, and very many different bird species and large mammals. The boat ride is one of the most memorable experiences from the park. Over 300 hippos are found in the lake.

Later, go for an evening game drive.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains, it is time to go to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth: Ishasha. This area is famous for its tree-climbing lions.

When you arrive in Ishasha, you will first try to spot the lions in one of the huge trees.

After the game drive in Ishasha, it is time to move to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the famous mountain gorillas.

On arrival, you will embark on a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that have lived in the forest for 500,000 years, enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

There are currently less than 1200 mountain gorillas left in the world and almost half of the population resides in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda.

After breakfast, head out to the park head offices with your guide and packed lunch for a briefing about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking.

After head for gorilla trekking through the misty rain forest, trekking can take 2 hours to 6 hours basing on the location of the gentle giants.

Make sure you carry enough water, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets.

At the end of this long and exciting adventure, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale, a region popularly known by many as the 'Switzerland of Africa'. This twisting water body dotted with 29 islands will amaze you.

The name of the lake translates as the 'place of little birds and it is indeed blessed with some 200 bird species.

On arrival, you will check into your lodge and relax, or choose to partake in an some of the optional activities (including canoeing, ziplining and kayaking) at 40 USD per person for each activity.

After having a delightful breakfast, you will begin your journey to Entebbe Airport. Along the way we’ll stop at the equator in Masaka to see where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Lunch, snacks, souvenirs, and photographs are on offer here.

You will then be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
