Arrival in Uganda | Boat ride | Game Drive | Travel To Lake Mburo National Park
On your arrival in Uganda, you will be met by Kubwa Five Safaris representative with your name printed on an A4 paper will welcome you at Entebbe International Airport in the morning hours and you will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park, home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, giraffes, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi, and reedbuck. Lake Mburo is magical in its own way with striking sunsets as well as panoramic landscapes.
You will have a stopover at the Equator in Masaka, see where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres. Snacks, souvenirs, and photographs may be taken here.
You will have lunch at the lodge, after lunch, go for a launch boat cruise; this is one of the most memorable experiences from the park. Over 300 hippos are found in the lake.

Morning Game Drive On Bicycle Safari | Horse Riding Safari | Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP
Have an early breakfast, head out for the morning drive bicycle safari (biking in the park), and horse riding. Due to Lake Mburo National Park's richness in diversity that ranges from Savannah vegetation, woodlands, forests, seasonal and permanent swamp hence being a habitat to many wildlife and bird species.
Then you will go for a biking safari and horsing ride at Mihingo Lodge. It is about 30 minutes drive from your lodge to Mihingo lodge. Note that, Mihingo lodge (a luxury lodge) is the only lodge in lake Mburo that offers Bicycle riding and Horse riding
After the biking and horse ride, you will be drinking at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
You will either have lunch on the way or at your hotel. Check-in at your lodge, prepare for yet another highlight of this amazing trip i.e. trekking mountain gorillas the following day.

Gorilla Trekking, Birding, Batwa Cultural Interaction And Community Walk
After breakfast, head to the park head offices with your guide, have a briefing about the Do’s and Don’ts while in the park with gorillas.
After head for gorilla trekking through the mist rain forest, trekking can take 2 hours or up to 6 hours and this is based on the location of the gentle giants. Once you get sight of the gorillas, you have an hour to admire, observe and take photos of them. It’s advisable to bring along a rain jacket and hiking boots. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is home to over 346 bird species, 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, 27 frog species among others, and covering an area of 331 sq km.
At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to the lodge for a well-deserved shower. Have your lunch and thereafter you will head out for a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, an Indigenous group of people that have lived in the forest for 500,000 years, enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

Travel To Ishasha Sector For Tree Climbing Lions Tracking | Travel To Queen Elizabeth National Park
After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions on the Kasenyi Plains. The Ishasha sector is notably recognized for its resident Tree climbing lions that are an exceptional attraction and one among the highlights on all safaris taken within Queen Elizabeth National park. In the southern section of this park, the Lions are now and again spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees whereas the Uganda Kob (which are the major food to these lions) graze in the plains of the Ishasha sector.
When you arrive in Ishasha you will first try to spot the lions in one of the huge trees.
After a game drive in Ishasha, it will time to move to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is also Uganda’s most popular tourist destination.
You will have an evening game drive aiming to catch the lions hunting in the evening. Lions usually hunt as the day dawns since the temperatures are cooler.

Morning Game Drive | Boat Ride | Relaxation In the Evening
Depart at 6:00 am for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park aiming to catch the lions hunting in the morning. We also expect to see the various bird species and leopards, Uganda kob, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, leopards, and waterbuck.
The Park is the largest biotic area in Africa. It is a habitat for a variety of flora and fauna, hippos, lions, elephants, wildebeest, swamp antelope, Uganda-kobs, topis, waterbucks, bushbucks, reedbucks, duiker, and many other animal species. It is home to over 95 species of mammals and over 600 species of birds.
Head back to the lodge for lunch and then after lunch head out for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Some of the best wildlife viewings are done on boat cruise by viewing Squacco herons, hippos, Elephants, Antelopes, and more.

Travel To Fort Portal | Hiking | Crater Lakes Tour | Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves | Travel To Kibale
After your breakfast, you will be driven to Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori. The route is incredibly scenic, passing through tea plantations and the lush green countryside which characterizes so much of Uganda. The last hour of the journey will take you through dense forest and the sounds of the wild.
You will have a walk at the edge of a rare twinned-volcanic crater lake; Kyaninga offers spectacular walks right on your doorstep. Take a guided walk around the rim of Crater Lake and see it in all of its majesties. Out of Kyaninga, you can tour the local villages and gain a fascinating insight into rural Ugandan life.
You will visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the three surrounding Explosion Crater Lakes and this will be a time of hiking, learning about the local culture and legends. This makes it a most interesting day adventure and can be done.

Chimpanzee Tracking | Travel To Semliki National Park | Sempaya Hot Springs
The tracking will start early and takes about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimps. After the trek you will go back to the resort for lunch and then visit Bigodi Swamp. This is a beautiful area in the rain forest with an abundance of animals: monkeys, birds and maybe forest elephants.

After visiting Bigodi, you will visit Sempaya Hot Springs which is the main attraction of the Semliki National Park and our safari highlight. At the springs, you will witness water boiling it’s self-using the natural forces. The strength and hotness of the springs are amazing as one can boil eggs and matooke in a few minutes, its ready to eat.

Morning Game Drive And Travel To Murchison Falls National Park
You will have an early morning game drive with a packed breakfast. The Semliki National Park is home to 53 mammals of which 27 are large mammals. 11 species are endemic to the park including the pygmy antelope and two flying squirrel species. It is also home to the peculiar water chevrotain, known as the “fanged deer.” The forest is remarkably rich in primates including the chimpanzee, baboon, grey-cheeked mangabey, black-and-white colobus, Central African red colobus, blue, red-tailed, de Brazza’s, vervet, and Dent’s mona monkeys. Nocturnal primates include the potto and bushbaby.
Be driven to Murchison Falls National Park through Kibale, then Hoima. The park is Uganda’s largest protected area, home to more than 73 animal species, including buffaloes, leopards, lions, and elephants, 3/4 of the world’s population of Rothschild giraffes plus a healthy population of herbivores. In addition to 451 bird species, including 23 Albertine rift endemics.

Morning Game Drive | Birding | The Boat Cruise On The River Nile
After early morning breakfast, you will out for a game drive to spot a great number of animals and birds.
You will end back at the lodge for lunch and rest till 2 pm for an afternoon boat ride. You will have a safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls. There you can marvel at toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over the 17-kilometer stretch, you may also see elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda kobs. This is also the habitat for many bird species.
The boat leaves you near the falls. It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow crevice below. The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces rainbows. Enjoy the views of these magnificent falls where the Nile forces its way through a gorge in the rocks and tumbles 43m below flowing westwards into Lake Albert. Did you know that Murchison Falls are one of the most waterfalls in the whole world?

Transfer To Kampala | Transfer to Entebbe Airport | Flight Back Home
After your breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala. You will have lunch on your way to Kampala. After reaching Kampala, you will then be transferred to the Entebbe Airport for your flight back home.
N.B: This trip accepts children who are 3 years and above. However, only children with 15 years and above can trek the Mountain Gorillas and Chimpanzee, if you have children below 15 years, you have engaged them with other activities as you go Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking. So, for children who are 14 years and below, each child will get a discount of USD 700 off.
