Day 1

Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park

Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park

At 7.00 am, you'll have breakfast at the hotel. You'll be picked up at 8.00-8.30 am and start a game drive en-route to Tarangire gate. Arrive at 10.00 am and take 10mins for registration then start the game drive inside the park.

At 1.00pm, have lunch at the picnic site (taking good care for beef takers and vegetarian). At 4.00 pm, exit the park and head to the lodge that we booked for your overnight. Dinner and your overnight are at Migombani Lodge. The park is 118km (2hours drive), South-West of Arusha and its total surface area is 2850sq km.

The park has sparse vegetation strewn with baobab trees and acacia trees. It's the only area in northern circuit with greatest number of wildlife outside the Serengeti eco-system. Animals expected to be spotted are zebra, cheetah, giraffe, lion, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, kori bustard—a heavy flying bird, antelope species and many elephants. Apart from wildlife game drives, you can also do a hot air balloon safari and it's $ 600per person.

Day 2

Drive to Serengeti National Park

Drive to Serengeti National Park

At 7.30 am, you'll have breakfast at the lodge. You'll be picked up at 8.00 am and start a game drive en-route to Serengeti National Park gate via Ngorongoro.

Arrive at 12.00 pm and take 10mins for registration then start the game drives inside the park. At 1.00 pm, have lunch at the picnic site (taking good care for beef takers and vegetarian). Then at 2.00 pm, continue with afternoon game drives till late evening at around 6.00pm

The park has endless plains accumulated with savannah grassland which provide a wide feeding area throughout the year. Wildebeest, many antelope species and zebras make it a potential area for carnivores such as cheetah, lion, hyena and other wild cats to hunt. Seronera valley has dotted acacia vegetation which appears in a group-like structure known as kopjes which provide a vantage point for predators to spot prey and a home for reptiles such as lizards and pythons.

Day 3

At 5.30 am have a light breakfast for warmup at Nyani Campsite. At 6.00 am enjoy a sunrise game drive at Serengeti then at 10.00 am, heavy breakfast at the camp. At 1.00 pm, have lunch at the picnic site (taking good care for beef takers and vegetarian).

At 2.00 pm continue with afternoon game drives till late in the evening at around 6.00 pm. At 6-6.30 pm have dinner. Your overnight stay is at your accomodation.

You can also do a hot air balloon safari and it's $ 600per person.

Day 4

At 5.30 am have breakfast at the Serengeti Rest House. At 6.00 am enjoy a sunrise game drive then at 10.00 am, for a heavy breakfast at the camp. At 1.00 pm, have lunch at the picnic site (taking good care for beef takers and vegetarian).

At 3.00 pm exit Serengeti National Park to Rhino Lodge. At 6-6.30 pm, you'll have dinner. Your overnight stay will be at Rhino Lodge. On this day, continue with game drives at Central Serengeti and most likely you'll be based in the southern part that will make you able to spot more hunting actions and even exit without delay to Rhino Lodge.

Activities such as sunrise game drives will enable you to spot the Big Five animals and many other animals including hunting actions since at sunrise animals are very active in search for their day meals. On this day you may also book a hot air balloon safari at $600 per person.

Day 5

At 7.00 am have breakfast at the camp then at 8.00 am, you'll start the game drive en-route to the crater gate. Start descending the crater at 9.00 am. At 1.00 pm have lunch at the picnic site then exit the crater at 4.00 pm. Get back to your lodge for dinner and your overnight at Hhando Lodge.

The park has a volcanic soil that supports many habitats making it a potential spot for Big Five viewing on a single day visit. Inside the park there's Lake Makat (a Maasai word meaning soda lake) which provides home for many birds.

The park is also well known for existence of many Maasai families living in their circular oriented bomas. Furthermore it's best for anyone wishing to explore the history of human evolution pioneered by Leakey's family.

Animals to be expected are lion, buffalo, wildebeest, many birds, zebra, hippo, gazelle, jackal, fox and other wild dogs, eland, waterbuck, serval, and ungulates. Giraffe, cheetah, leopard and elephant are rarely seen at the crater rim.

Day 6

Lake Manyara National Park

At 7.00 am have breakfast at lodge. At 8.00 am you'll be picked up and start a game drive en-route to Lake Manyara's gate. Arrive at 9.00 am and take 10min for registration.

The park has a variety of diverse habitats such as underground water forest forest, woodlands, and an alkaline lake on the the western part which provide a feeding area for thousands of flamingos.

It's the only park in Tanzania with great number of birds species. Also, 180 butterfly species have been documented in the park. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions, lesser flamingos and its canopy walking.

Common wildlife expected include thousands wildebeests, buffalos, giraffes, hippos, lions, warthogs, baboons, honey badgers, bush elephants, zebras, waterbucks and many others.

After full day game drive inside later you will have to exit the park and you will be transferred back to Your accommodation in Arusha.
