Arrive In Rwanda | Travel To Akagera National Park | Cultural Interaction | Evening Game Drive

On your arrival in Rwanda, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at the Kigali International Airport and be transferred to Akagera National Park.

On your way to Akagera National Park, you will visit the community for cultural interaction (the community is around the park) and enjoy the Rwandan culture, including the traditional dance. This authentic Rwandan culture experience includes
banana beer making and testing, as well as visiting the field to see how the bananas are planted before they are harvested to make the banana beer.

After the cultural interaction, you will go on a short game drive and then drive back to the lodge.

Boat Cruise | Guided Game Drive In Akagera National Park

After breakfast, you will take a boat trip on Lake Ihema to watch hippos and crocodiles in the water or by the shores.

After the boat cruise, you will go for a game drive for the rest of the day. The Akagera National Park hosts a number of big mammals with the most sought-after being lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and hippos, which will provide for great photographic moments.

The park has in the recent past made great strides in conservation by engaging the community through community tours. With the re-introduction of lions, the numbers of the Big Five are increasing by the day.

The Last Day With Us | Transfer To Kigali | Visit Genocide Memorial Site | Transfer To The Airport

After having a leisurely breakfast, you will be driven to Kigali and embark on a city tour, visiting the Genocide memorial site.

And after that, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
