1-Day Trip to Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route

Today after breakfast you will pick up in Arusha (Pick up point to be advised) and drive to Londorossi Gate on the western side of Kilimanjaro. Fill out necessary registration paperwork at the park gate. You will take a steep track into a savanna of tall grasses, heather (ornamental plant), and volcanic rock draped with lichen beards (tree moss). Ascend through the lush rolling hills below the Shiru Plateau, finally reaching camp at the edge of the plateau where you can see a view of Kibo Peak.

The Lemosho route is considered the most scenic trail on Kilimanjaro, granting panoramic vistas on various sides of the mountain. As one of the newer routes, Lemosho is a superb choice for your climb. Most of our clients climb Kilimanjaro using this route and they consistently report that they loved it. Thus, Lemosho is highly recommended.
Later on the day you will drive back to Moshi or Arusha for drop off (Drop off point to be advised).
