Day 1

Welcome to Botswana!

On your first day, we will pick you up from the Maun Airport and take you to your hotel where you will be briefed by your guide. Take the rest of the afternoon to relax at your hotel and to get ready for your adventure. You also have the option to book your scenic flight over the delta for the next day. Dinner will be enjoyed at the hotel.

Day 2-3

Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta

We get ready to head into the Okavango Delta where we will be spending two nights camping in the wild. If you booked a helicopter flight, you will be departing in the morning before entering the park.

We use traditional mokoros to go deeper into the delta. We will set up camp for two nights on one of the many islands and simply blend in with all of our surroundings.
Once at our island we will pitch up camp all together, and relax before lunch time.
We will be doing morning and afternoon game walks for the next two days.
During the day it's possible to go for a swim with the locals in one of the channels of the delta, or learn how to pole the mokoro as the locals do.

Day 4-6

Moremi Game Reserve

Moremi Game Reserve

We leave the channels of the Okavango Delta and proceed north into the Moremi Game Reserve.
Often described as one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in Africa, it combines mopane woodland and acacia forests, floodplains and lagoons. It is the great diversity of plant and animal life that makes Moremi so well known.
The reserve contains approximately twenty percent of the Okavango Delta within its boundaries.

We will be camping for three nights in the middle of nature and will be spending our days doing morning and afternoon game drives in order to find the best animal sightings.

Back to Maun

Back to Maun

Today we will embark on a last morning game drive inside Moremi Game Reserve before heading back to Maun.
Lunch will be in town at your own expense and it will be an oportunity to get more goodies for the next part of the trip.
Emjoy the rest of the day at leisure before dinner time.
Possibility to do a helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta ($370 per person).

Day 8-9

Planet Baobab

Planet Baobab

The Ntwetwe Pan, a salt pan situated in the middle of the dry savannah of north-eastern Botswana, is one of the largest salt flats in the world. On our day of arrival, after checking in, we will learn about the baobabs of the area while taking a short walk on the lodge premises in the afternoon.

The following day, we will go on a game drive to the Ntwetwe Pan to discover the unique desert-adapted species that inhabit the lunar-like landscape, the Meerkats. Spend some time with them to understand their behaviour and way of life.
Then come back to camp for lunch and for a free afternoon that can be enjoyed by the pool.

Day 10-11

Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park

Before we leave to Kasane, you will go to a local Batswana village in order to learn more about the culture of the country. This visit will end with a traditional meal before departing towards Kasane where the Chobe National Park is.
Upon arrival, we will pithc up camp and have free time before dinner time.

The next day, you will embark on a morning game drive inside the park, come back to camp for lunch and then later in the day, you will go on a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River, an experience not to be missed, as it is one of the highlights of the tour. We return to our campsite for dinner.

Day 12

Victoria Falls

We leave the wilderness of Botswana to go into the country of Zimbabwe.
We will be staying in a lodge for two night in the town of Victoria Falls.
Once we crosse the border we wil head for an own expense lunch in the town of Victoria Falls before exploring the mighty falls. We arrive at the end of the afternoon at the lodge for check in and free time before dinner.

The next day, day 11, is a free day, either relax by the pool, do some shopping or enjoy a full day of optional activities.
