You'll be picked up from the airport, hotel, or ferry terminal and driven to Mikumi National Park which is approximately a 5 hours and 30 minutes drive. You'll stop in Morogoro town for lunch and proceed to Mikumi National Park. On arrival in Mikumi National Park, you will start with an afternoon game drive.

Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth–largest national park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Within its 3230 sq km, it is set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons zebras, leopards crocodiles, and many more just to mention a few.

After an early morning (2 hours) game drive at Mikumi, you'll return to the lodge for a late breakfast. Then, you'll proceed towards Ruaha National Park. It’s about a 5-hour journey. Ruaha is Tanzania’s largest National Park, It is at the center of an ecosystem that covers 12,950 sq km and is home to the country’s largest elephant population (estimated at some 10,000). Later, you'll transfer to your lodge.

This is a full-day safari in Ruaha National Park. Your activities will concentrate along the great Ruaha River, Mwagusi Sand River, and Mdonya River. You'll have lunch in the middle of nowhere followed by more drive to the homes of buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, antelopes, colorful birds, and plants until 6.30 pm for the beautiful sunset in the East African Great Rift Valley. You'll enjoy your dinner and an overnight stay at Ruaha Cottage.

You'll wake up for an early morning game drive in Ruaha until 8:30 hrs then drive back to the camp, lodge, or cottage for breakfast. After breakfast, you will continue with the game drive until lunchtime. Then, you'll start to drive to Camp Bastian Mikumi town for dinner and an overnight stay at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

After breakfast, you will start a 5 - 6 hour drive to Dar es Salaam amid the now-familiar landscapes and colorful villages. You will have one stop for lunch and continue the journey to Dar es Salaam. The adventure comes to an end.
