Kilimanjaro Airport - Tarangire National Park

Program: Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide will be waiting for you, and after a brief introduction, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch. After the game drive, we will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Description: The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons.

Ngorongoro Crater

Program: After breakfast early in the morning, we will drive up to the gates of the Ngorongoro conservation area and drop inside the crater where you will be able to see a lot of animals living within the crater.

Description: The crater is the world's largest caldera, which was formed after the explosion that occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago. The crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. The area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.

Lake Manyara National Park - Kilimanjaro International Airport

Program: After breakfast early in the Morning, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel/lodge and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch. After the game drive we will transfer you to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport, where the safari will end.

Description: Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara National Park is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion!. At some point during your game drive, you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.
