Our representative (or your guide) will meet you at the airport, pick you up and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. The drive from the airport to your hotel is about 40min. Your safari consultant together with your safari guide will brief you on various aspects of your itinerary including sharing all the important tips before the safari begins

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a 2.5-hour leisure drive towards the southwest to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire has the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. During the dry season, the Tarangire River which cuts through the park is a magnet for animal life. You will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you observe exotic mammals such as lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras and various types of antelopes. Tarangire is a paradise for birdwatchers with over 550 different species, including the Maasai ostrich, the world’s largest bird.

After a rewarding day in Tarangire, you will drive further to your lodge near Ngorongoro for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Following breakfast, you will depart with your packed lunch for a game viewing excursion on the crater floor at Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcano caldera formed three million years ago and is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world and one of Africa's most remarkable geological sites. The crater has a unique ecosystem that is inhabited by more than 25,000 resident animals. In the grass steppes and acacia forest you can encounter almost every animal species of the East African savanna, including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard).

Later on, you will proceed to your lodging located at the rim of the crater for evening leisure, dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Central Serengeti via Ndutu, well-known for its cheetah, lion, leopard, and other big cats. Driving off the main road during a game drive is what makes Ndutu quite a special game area.

Later on, we proceed to Central Serengeti with its ocean of grassland savannah stretching to the horizon as far as your eye can see. The abundance of African wildlife is what makes it such a sought-after safari destination. The residents include healthy populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and others, not to mention the more than 400 species of birds.

After a rewarding day of game viewing, you will drive further to your lodging for dinner and your overnight stay.

Your entire day is dedicated to viewing the best of the Serengeti's wildlife activities. The mornings and evenings are always the best time to view animals. You will descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You will head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River which provides a valuable water source to this zone. It attracts most of the Serengeti’s wildlife species including lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, giraffes, a great number of hippos, and abundant birdlife.

After an incredible day wandering through the Central Serengeti plains, you will head back to your lodge for evening leisure and a hot dinner.

Enjoy your final game drive en-route to the Seronera Airstrip for your inbound flight to Zanzibar. Arrive at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, commonly known as Zanzibar Airport. Our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your beach resort in the northeast of the island. The drive from the airport to the beach hotel is about an hour.

You can do one of the below activities before driving to the beach (activity supplement applies):
