Victoria Falls - Livingstone - Zambia
On arrival at Livingstone Airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Victoria Falls, to which you have free & unlimited access.
Victoria Falls presents a spectacular view of the Zambezi River, forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Columns of spray can be seen from miles away as, up to more than five hundred million cubic meters of water per minute plummet over the edge, over a breadth of nearly two kilometers, into a gorge over one hundred meters below. The wide cliff over which the falls thunder, transforms the Zambezi from a placid river into a ferocious torrent cutting through a series of dramatic gorges. Getting up close to the falls is what Livingstone is all about. Here you can stand at the very edge of the thunderous abyss.
Inside the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, there are pathways alongside the gorge edge that give you incredible panoramas of the Eastern Cataract, one of five cataracts of Victoria Falls.
