Victoria Falls - Zimbabwean Side
You will be met at Victoria Falls Airport by a Mmilo Tours representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Victoria Falls presents a spectacular sight of the Zambezi River, forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Columns of spray can be seen from miles away as, at the height of the rainy season, more than five hundred million cubic meters of water per minute plummet over the edge, over a width of nearly two kilometres, into a gorge over one hundred meters below. The wide cliff over which the falls thunder, transforms the Zambezi from a placid river into a ferocious torrent cutting through a series of dramatic gorges. Getting up close to the power of Victoria Falls is what a visit to Victoria Falls is all about.
A final highlight today is a dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River (included). The Zambezi sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photo opportunities against the African sunsets.

Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park
After an early breakfast, you are transferred by road to Hwange National Park, a two-hour road transfer through the northwestern region of Zimbabwe. Your accommodation for the next three nights will be at Hwange Safari Lodge. Home to the world’s largest population of African elephants, including the presidential herd, Hwange boasts an abundance of other wildlife including buffalo, lion, leopard, and a host of other species. Hwange is all about wildlife, so game drives with expert guides are the order of the day at Hwange Safari Lodge. These can be enjoyed at night and in the daytime, but always in the care of expert guides. To top it all, the nearby waterhole provides a great view of the game from each room, the restaurant, the pool area, and the viewing deck. While guests enjoy a sundowner, they watch the trek to the waterhole by a rare mix of game - from impala to the majestic elephant - for their end-of-day drink. (Hwange National Park entry fee of $25 per person is not included).

On Safari - Hwange National Park
An early wake-up call signals the start of yet another exciting day in the African bush. You depart on an early morning safari in open 4x4 vehicles. The early morning safari ensures that you get to be on the game drive as the animals start stirring. The safari is led by an experienced guide who will share inside stories and facts about your surroundings, after which you return to the lodge for a late breakfast. The rest of the day is at leisure at the lodge to relax and watch the wildlife of the park come down to quench their thirst at the lodge's waterhole.
Later this afternoon, another safari is undertaken. As with early morning, the late afternoon/evening game drive is often the best time to see the wildlife. The predatory animals begin to stir from their heat-of-the-day slumber, and their prey becomes ever more active and alert as darkness falls. Vehicles usually return just before dark in time for dinner. (Hwange National Park fee of $25 per person per day is not included).
