Day 1

After breakfast at 08:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel by our guide to discover the beauty of Arusha city. See Clock Tower (the halfway point between Cairo in Egypt and Johannesburg in South Africa) and take a walk to a Maasai market. Proceed to the Arusha Declaration Monument and Museum, and visit the Central Market to learn about different African spices, vegetables, and fruits. You also stop at the Arusha City Bus Terminal and the Cultural Heritage Centre and later drive to Meru Waterfall.

After lunch, you will head to Lake Duluti located outside of the city for a short walk in the forest, bird watching, and canoeing. Later in the evening, you will be taken back to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 2

You will depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in the afternoon. In the early evening after your game drive, you will exit the park and make your way to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Depart from Tarangire after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En-route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you have a chance to see some views of the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti's gate.

After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive for the chance to look for some of the wild game before sunset. Return for dinner at the campsite.

Today, you will head out early for your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses.

Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of the African wildlife you have come to see. Later, exit the park and make your way to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast, you will depart the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve.

It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater before departing for Arusha in the late afternoon.

Day 6

Arusha to Mount Kilimanjaro

Arusha to Mount Kilimanjaro

You wake up at 6:00 am for a 7:00 am breakfast at the hotel. At 7:30 am, you’ll be picked up by our guide and driver and head to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (a drive of about 2.5 to 3 hours). After arrival, spend 10 minutes on registration, then you’ll start the climb. Walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment.

A side trip to the Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings, including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rainforest, look for towering eucalyptus trees, birdlife, and colobus monkeys. Later in the afternoon, you will drive back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will depart from the hotel and head toward Materuni Waterfalls. It is a 2-hour drive to Materuni village located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.

You will learn about traditions and customs as well as how the local Chagga people grow and process the coffee for substance use. Visit a coffee farm, pick coffee and make your own strong coffee locally.

Hike for 30 minutes to the Materuni Waterfalls, which are about 80m higher, to explore nature. Later, you will drive to Kikuletwa Hot Springs to enjoy the lukewarm waters while swimming with the “Garra Rufa” fish giving you a free pedicure. You will have the option to have your lunch at the waterfalls or the hot springs.

Later in the evening, you will leave the place with a lot of memories to treasure. Depending on your request, we will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
