Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from the hotel to start your tour of Tarangire National Park in the morning. You will have breakfast at 7:30 am and start driving to the park. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families.

You will do a game drive through the park depending on where reported sightings of animals are (mostly predators, lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they are harder to spot) as herbivores (giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, etc are plenty to see through the park.

Later on, you will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with the game drive till evening when you will exit the park. We will drop you off at your lodge. This is the end of the tour.

After your morning breakfast, you will depart from the lodge with your hot-picnic lunch. You will descend the amazing Ngorongoro Crater to spend your day spotting the wonders of the crater.

At the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting all Big Five animals (lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and black rhinos (depending on the day).

During the afternoon, you will be served lunch followed by an afternoon game drive till evening where you will exit the park heading to Arusha City.
