An Oasis Safaris representatives will pick you up from your hotel at exactly 7:00am. You will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a premier location for gorilla trekking. The journey to your lodge takes about 12 hours. The first stop will be at the equator, a famous spot for photography. Afterward, you'll proceed to Mbarara town for lunch before continuing to the park.
Dinner and your overnight accommodations will be at a camp situated in the heart of the forest, providing a calm and peaceful environment with fantastic views of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The camp offers a warm bottle and fireplace to help you stay cozy during the cool conditions in the forest.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast and a briefing from the guides/rangers, you’ll set off on your gorilla tracking experience in the forest sanctuary. The activity begins at 8:00am, so ensure you have a packed lunch, drinking water, a rain jacket, and jungle boots. The rangers will provide you with a walking stick. The time taken to find the gorillas varies based on their movements. Encountering a 350-pound silverback or a baby gorilla along the way is an exciting and unforgettable experience! After your trek, return to the starting point to receive your certificate of participation, then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Wake up early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast, and then conclude your stay at the lodge in the "land of the mountain gorillas," taking with you great memories of your time spent with these fascinating creatures. You’ll then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a morning adventure boat cruise. This lake is considered one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa (900 meters deep) and one of the few locations in the country where swimming is considered safe, as it is free of bilharzia. After your cruise, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe and your hotel.
