Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

We pick you up at 0700hrs from the hotel or airport and drive you to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive takes 2,5 - 3 hrs. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photography and washrooms. At Naivasha, you have an optional opportunity to do a boat ride at an extra cost of USD 30 PP for an hour and a visit to Crescent Island where "Out of Africa' was documented!

Proceed to Lake Nakuru and arrive at your hotel in time for lunch. We head out for your first game drive at 16h00, then return to Lake Nakuru Lodge at sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at 07h00, we proceed to the Masai Mara via the Mau escarpment with a stopover at Narok. We arrive at the camp in time for lunch. At 16h00, we go on the afternoon game drive until sunset. We return to our accommodation for dinner and our overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve is known for its abundant concentration of wild animals. This is where you see the true African savannah with endless grasslands rolling over the horizon!

You have a full day of game viewing today. You can choose to have a half-day game drive where you return to the camp for lunch, and again depart for the afternoon game drive at 16h00. Otherwise, you can depart for a full-day game drive after breakfast with packed lunch boxes and return at sunset. You can discuss the options with your safari guide. Enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at Simba Oryx nature Lodge.
