Day 1

You'll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where our representative will meet and escort you to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. You will have a short safari briefing before the start of your safari. Enjoy some rest in the hotel waiting for your safari the following day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park and start your safari by exploring the open wilderness with the highest concentration of elephants in northern Tanzania, the Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is best known for its many gigantic baobab trees and its large herds of elephants. It is home to approximately 2,500 individuals and large herds are regularly viewed. Mammals such as lions, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, buffalos can be spotted here. In dry seasons, Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River which is a permanent source of water. Tarangire is the only place in Tanzania where the oryx and gerenuk are regularly spotted.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 3

Karatu to Serengeti National Park (Central)

Karatu to Serengeti National Park (Central)

Early morning after breakfast, you will drive straight to the Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will reach Serengeti National Park’s gate at around 11:00 am or by midday and you will have a picnic packed lunch box with you at the gate before you check-in. After lunch, proceed with your afternoon game drive until in the late afternoon. You will then drive straight to your accommodation at Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4-5

Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende) Following the Migration Crossing Mara River

Early morning after breakfast, you will drive from Central Serengeti to the North Serengeti also known as Kogatende, to follow the great migration of more than a million of wildebeests, more than 250000 zebras accompanied by antelopes. The drive takes approximately 2 hours. You will explore the vast Serengeti with its endless plains looking for the big cats as well as the migrating herds.
The migrating herds are found on the northern Serengeti during the months of July to October before heading to Masai Mara. If you’re lucky enough, this is the best place to witness the wildebeests crossing the Mara River as well as the hungry crocodiles hunting their prey. After lunch and more game drives, you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
You will spend these 2 nights in the Northern Serengeti National Park.

Day 6

North Serengeti to Central Serengeti (Approximately 2 hours Drive)

Early morning after breakfast, you will drive straight to the Central Serengeti. On the way, you will see animals such as gazelles, zebras, giraffes, hippos and more. You can also catch a glimpse of predators on their hunt. Big cats can be spotted on the way and more than 500 birds species. You will reach the Central Serengeti and have a picnic lunch or drive straight to your accommodation for a hot lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with your afternoon game drive until late in the afternoon. Afterwards, drive back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive straight to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest unbroken calderas on the planet with over 25,000 wild creatures in the caldera, more prides per capita than anywhere on earth. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five—lions, leopard, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalo. It is one of the world’s most astonishing and among the 8th Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The black rhino can easily be sighted in the crater. Think of another place in the world where you can see such a unique setting with diverse scenery, prolific wildlife and birdlife, and an ecosystem like no other. In the afternoon, have lunch then ascend the crater. Drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast at your accommodation, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game viewing drive with a picnic lunch. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will have lunch at a picnic site and afterwards, go for more game viewing. Later, drive back to Arusha or at the airport to catch your flight to the next destination.
