Day 1

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti NP

Pick up from the airport and we take a short pleasant drive to Ngorongoro crate, we will have an early morning game drive inside the Crater. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point.
Ngorongoro was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It also safeguards the interests of indigenous people and promotes tourism.
Late afternoon drive to the Serengeti NP for evening leisure and overnight.

Day 2

Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti Kogatende

After breakfast we depart to north Serengeti for wildebeest migration, Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area, with prides of lion up to 30 strong, however, from July to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note to actually finding a crossing is very difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck.
Evening drive to Mara River, Serengeti Savannah camp for overnight.

Day 3-4

Kogatende Mara River Game Drive

Kogatende Mara River Game Drive

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive in the Wagakuria area. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in this area of the park, with prides of lion up to 30 strong, however, from August to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later. Please take note Finding a crossing is very difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to river and only decide to cross or not cross until a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. After game drive, evening drive to Mara River, Serengeti Savannah camp for overnight.

Day 5

After breakfast, we start game viewing en route to central Serengeti. Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to gaudy agama lizards; Rock hyraxes scuffle around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite koppies. Wide varieties of dung beetle were found, and around 500 bird species have been recoded ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills.
Later in the evening drive to the camp for evening leisure and overnight.

Day 6

Serengeti NP to Arusha town

Serengeti NP to Arusha town

You will rise in the early morning to a hot cup of coffee or tea and leave camp for an exciting morning game drive to the heart of Serengeti. You will view the wildlife at their most active time of day and enjoy an African sunrise. The mornings are chilly so don’t forget some warm clothes. After your sunrise game drive you will drive back to camp for brunch. After brunch you will check-out and embark on another game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area to Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay.
