Distance 140 km.
After breakfast, you'll start a safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular between June and September, the dry period. During this time thousands of animals —wildebeests, buffalos, and oryx migrate from the dry Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River looking for water. Lions, leopards, and other predators follow the herds. Tarangire is home to over 500 varieties of birds. You'll have lunch and take a late afternoon wildlife viewing drive. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sunbright Campsite.

Lake Manyara National Park for a Full-Day Game Drive

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for the morning and afternoon game drives. You'll start the game drive through an underground water forest, proceed to acacia woodland savannah open land, pass by a hot water spring, and proceed to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara is home to many flamingos and other water birds. The park is home to tree-climbing lions, hippos, elephants, zebras, buffalos, giraffes, baboons, blue and velvet monkeys, warthogs, and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded here. You will have a picnic lunch, dinner, and overnight at Sun Bright Campsite.

Day 3

Manyara to Central Serengeti National Park

Manyara to Central Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll leave for Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with the option of visiting Olduvai Gorge (known as the cradle of mankind the hominids dating 2 million years back). The game drive takes you to the vast Serengeti plains, home of the big game animals, the predators, great migration, and the Nile crocodiles. At 6:30 pm, at sunset, you will be driven back for dinner and an overnight stay at the Seronera Campsite.

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will start a day with the morning game drives in Serengeti National Park marveling at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light and always entertaining wildlife, all explained to you by your expert guide.

With the optional picnic or hot lunch at 12:30 am. After lunch, you'll set off again for afternoon game drives that take you till sunset at 6:30 pm when you drive to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Seronera Campsite.

Day 5

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast, you will depart from Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater rim. You'll wake up for early morning game drives in Serengeti. Then, you'll head back to the campsite for breakfast. You will then check out and drive with lunch and wildlife viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim for dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 6

Crater back to Arusha/Airport

Crater back to Arusha/Airport

You'll wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then descend into the crater floor for game drives. All of the Big Five (rhino, lion, buffalo, and elephant) live in this wonderful caldera. Others who live here are zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and more. Birds include flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Your lunch will be served at the picnic site in the crater at Ngoitoktok Swamp, a Hippo pool. After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha/airport.
