On arrival at Maun International airport, you will be met by your guide. Otherwise, the guide will pick you up from the hotel that you will be staying at in Maun. From the airport/hotel, you will be going to a shopping center where you will have time to buy whatever you will need for the trip. Proceed on a 3-hour drive to Moremi Game Reserve where you will spend 3 nights. Moremi Game Reserve is concentrated with vast wildlife and vegetation species. Every type of mopane habitat is well represented in this drive, from the towering cathedral, woodlands and Xakanaxa to the classic mopane woodland as the climax. It is also a good birding area.

Day 2
Exploration of the Reserve
Exploration of the Reserve
After our continental breakfast, we will set out to experience the famous Moremi Game Reserve. Today, we will have an early morning and a late afternoon drive with a siesta in-between after our lunch. There is an optional boat excursion along the Moanachira Channel which is part of the mighty Okavango Delta. This will give us enough time to explore the abundance of game and to have an unforgettable bush experience.

Day 3
Khwai Concession

For another wildlife experience, you will take a morning drive from Moremi Game Reserve to the Khwai Concession for another campsite. Khwai concession is located on the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve and the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta. This area is rich in wildlife, sightings of large predators such as lions and leopards are very good in the area. Birding is also good in the area, including kingfishers and wattled cranes amongst many. This area is encompassing of wetlands where water activities such as mokoro/canoe are the best to experience the flood plains formed by the presently listed heritage site, the Okavango Delta.

Day 4

We rise early and after our healthy breakfast we set out to explore and experience the abundance of wildlife in this pristine area. We aim to be back in camp by noon, but if we are lucky with game viewing we will take our time out there. After our lunch, there is time for a shower and a siesta before we set out for our afternoon activity till sundown. A mokoro/canoe trip will be an option for this afternoon.

Day 5
Savuti (Chobe)

An interesting game drive takes us away from the Khwai Concession, traveling via the Khwai River and the Mababe Depression to Savuti, where we will be staying for 2 nights. It is another interesting area to visit in Botswana because of its amazing wildlife.

Day 6

Savuti Exploration
Savuti is a place that no one would like to miss on a holiday trip. It is popularly known for its unique experience of abundance in wildlife species and beautiful landscape covered with marsh grass and scattered rocky outcrops. Amazing sightings of cats such as lions and leopards have been recorded since the place existed. It is also home to large herbivores such as elephants, giraffes, zebras and buffaloes. Birdlife is amazing in the area, including Kori bustards, secretary birds and different types of eagles. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and arrive at the camp in the mid-afternoon, in time to still take a short sunset drive. A superb bush dinner will be ready when we get to the camp and the campfire will welcome us. We will do a morning and afternoon drive during our stay here.

Day 7
Transfer to drop you in Kasane, end of the trip
Transfer to drop you in Kasane, end of the trip
After our breakfast, we will start on our drive toward Kasane where we will be dropping you off. If you are going to Zimbabwe or Zambia, we will drop you off at the Kazungula border post, depending on what time your transfer from the border will be.
