On the way, your guide will give you some information about the local Chagga people and their culture, while also describing the surrounding fauna and flora. Once you reach the waterfall, take in the breathtaking views and if you are lucky, you will be able to see the summit of Kilimanjaro. The falls drop 80 meters into a clear pool at the bottom, inviting you for a refreshing swim.

Kikuletwa Hot spring
The ride to the hot springs takes about an hour and leads partly over bumpy slopes. We will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi and pass through dried river beds, baobab, and acacia trees as we make our way to our destination. The hot springs of Kikuletwa, also known as Chemka Hot Springs, are close to Rundugai and one of the most beautiful places in Tanzania. Palm and fig trees with winding roots surround the pool.
Blue monkeys can be seen on the tree branches above, while the crystal clear, turquoise water invites you for a swim. Although they are called hot springs, the water in Kikuletwa is not truly ‘hot’ but refreshing, as Kilimanjaro is the primary water source of the pool. Enjoy a wonderful day just as you want, dozing off in the sun, chatting with the locals at the small bar, or swimming—you determine how you want to spend the day! At noon, we will have a picnic lunch, and in the late afternoon, we will return to your hotel in Moshi, feeling relaxed and refreshed.
