Nairobi / Samburu

You will be picked up from your residency/hotel or the airport at 8:00 am and be driven to Samburu Game Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Return to Samburu Sopa Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Samburu Game Reserve is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannah, watered by the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebra and the Beisa oryx.

You will go on an early morning game drive from 6:00 to 9:30 am, then return to the camp for a full breakfast and freshening up. You will have an afternoon game drive from 4:00 to 6:30 pm. We will return to Samburu Sopa Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Samburu is the only game reserve where you can find Grevy's zebra and the reticulated giraffe. This is also one of the parks in Kenya where you can easily spot leopard. We will be looking for rare animal species, as well as for elephant, lion, leopard and cheetah. They thrive in the reserve's grasslands and the acacia woodlands. Samburu offers amazing game-viewing, including the Big Five members (lion, buffalo, elephant and leopard). You will always remember this amazing holiday of spending the 25th of December in the wild Samburu Game Reserve.

Samburu / Lake Nakuru

You will go on an early morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Proceed on the drive to Lake Nakuru where you will arrive at Sopa Lodge Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. Go on an afternoon game drive until 6:30 pm, then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Early morning game drive from 630am with sunrise exploring the beauty of Lake Nakuru landscape and the game drive to see the rhino Lake Nakuru being the home to flamingos and rhino you will do this game drive up to 900am then go back for major breakfast after that leave to Nairobi and Arrive Back in Nairobi at 1pm end of safari.
