Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro International Airport/JRO or Arusha Airport/ARK), you will be met by your personal driver-guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay. Prepare for your adventures the following day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park (120km approximately 2hrs drive)

After breakfast depart for Tarangire, Tanzania's third-largest national park and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy a game drive with packed picnic lunches. Return for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn.

Day 3-4

Northern Serengeti National Park

Northern Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will continue towards the fertile highlands where wheat, coffee
and corn are grown by the Iraqw people. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation
Area, you will be able to see the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before traveling
onwards to Northern Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch taken on the way. You will
reach Northern Serengeti by the evening. You will spend 2 full days in Northern Serengeti exploring the park, its animals
and the incredible landscapes. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife,
such as impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles and hippos but is more well-known for its great
migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Apart
from the migrating herds, you may see predators such as leopards, cheetahs and lions.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your accommodation.

On this day you will be driving to the central Serengeti while gaming on the route, The Serengeti National Park is the
largest park in Tanzania with diverse landscapes and habitats such as grassy plains,
swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains. After an extensive game drive, you will
drive to your accommodation where you will enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at
your accommodation.

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the largest unbroken calderas on the planet with over 25,000 wild creatures, more prides per capita than anywhere else on earth. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo). It is one of the world’s most astonishing places, listed among the 8 Wonders of the World and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The black rhino can easily be spotted in the crater. There is no other place in the world where you can see such a unique setting with diverse scenery, prolific wildlife and birdlife, with an ecosystem like no other. In the afternoon after lunch, ascend the crater and drive to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7

Karatu to Manyara to Arusha

Karatu to Manyara to Arusha

After breakfast, you will pick a lunch box from your accommodation and continue to
this epic safari destination, which is Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small
but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow Salt Lake. It
covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons. It is home to
thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On your exploration of the park,
you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants, and with some
luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only
open grassy plains but also primate baobab-dotted and baobab-dotted cliffs. After a
further game drive, you will drive straight back to Arusha or to the airport ready to head to your
next destination as per your schedule.
