Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

We’ll pick you up from the airport, your residence in Nairobi or your hotel at 7:30 am and head over to the Masai plains, stopping for a scenic break to view the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After arriving at the reserve, you will have time for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

Enjoy full-day game drives within the Mara Reserve. Get ready to explore the rich terrain and animal life of the Mara. You’ll enjoy unlimited game drives through rolling grassland and signature flat-topped acacia trees. Along with the vast herds roaming the savannah, you’ll visit the Mara River to view hippos and crocodiles while enjoying your picnic lunch. Expect to see more big cats of Masai Mara actively hunting down big antelopes. Return to your lodge at 6:00 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Wake up early for a light breakfast before being transferred to the balloon safari starting point by the guide (this is optional). You will have a short briefing by the senior pilot then set off above the Masai Mara Plains. Experience a great view above the plains, see the Big Five and many antelopes including hunting. Your hot air balloon flight lasts approximately one hour and 10 minutes, drifting wherever the air currents take you, with ample opportunities for photography and video filming. When your Kenyan hot air balloon safari finishes, you will toast your return to earth with a champagne breakfast, cooked wherever you land. Your hour hot air balloon safari ends with a transfer back to your accommodation in an open Land Cruiser for easier game viewing.
In the afternoon, you will have a short game drive and then have a cultural visit to a Maasai Village. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the camp.
