Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Waking up in the Serengeti is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The sights, sounds, and scents of Africa surround us as we embark on a full day of adventure in the world's most famous national park. After breakfast, we will start our morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, where we will have the chance to see the Big Five. We will continue our game drives over the vast plains until late afternoon, then enjoy lunch at the picnic area. As the day goes on, the beauty of the Serengeti becomes more apparent. The diverse animals and birds are the main attraction, and natural phenomena could occur anytime. Since animals do not operate on a schedule, we could encounter a lion, leopard, elephant, zebra, cheetah, or antelope at any point during our drives. After a day filled with wildlife encounters, we will return to our tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay. A hot air balloon experience can be arranged upon request for an extra charge.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

We will spend most of our day today at the hippo pool, observing the animals as they cool down in the waterhole. We will see crocodiles and huge hippos, and if we are lucky, a large pride of lions and migrating wildebeest and zebras. We then travel to the kopjes, which are rocky outcrops providing natural shelter for a variety of creatures. From there, we have a bird's eye view of the immense plains of the Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon, we travel directly to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to enjoy dinner and overnight stay at a carefully selected lodge as we prepare for our excursions to the crater the following day.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Today, our focus will be on the Ngorongoro Crater, which offers a stunningly beautiful backdrop and is the prime location in East Africa for observing the Big Five (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion, and leopard). Ngorongoro National Park is among the world's most magnificent natural safari destinations and a fantastic place to encounter the Masai people. The Ngorongoro Crater and the surrounding hills form one of Africa's most breathtaking landscapes. The volcanic craters provide a stunning backdrop to some of Africa's richest grazing lands. The caldera, which is 610 meters (2000 feet) deep and covers 260 square kilometers (100 square miles), is an enclosed habitat. Following a wonderful meal by the hippo lake and a second wildlife drive in the afternoon, we will return to Arusha to conclude the safari.

We would happily arrange the final night of your vacation or organize any additional adventures in Tanzania upon request.
