Arusha - Manyara National

Program: On this day your guide will come to pick you from your hotel in Arusha, and after a brief introduction we will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing with a picnic lunch, after game drive you will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Manyara Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion. At some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.

Karatu – Ndutu Area

Program: After breakfast early in the morning we will drive up to the gates of ngorongoro conservation area will drive to Ndutu area for game drive, enjoying the wildebeest calving process, howver you will have all the chances to spot other animals Lions, Buffalos, zebra, Hyenas, antelopes. After game drive we will drive direct to Serengeti Ndutu for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti Ndutu

Program: After breakfast we continue with game drive within the park exploring the Serengeti National Park around the area of Ndutu with great concern on migration, in the afternoon picnic lunch on of the best picnic site within the park.

Ndutu provide a best wild life viewing during the green season which is around December up to April, ndutu is found on the southern part of Serengeti plains where around 8000 wildebeest babies are born every day, there area is mostly covered by forest of acacia trees, also Ndutu is the best place to spot six species of cat – leopard, lion, cheetah, caracal, African wildcat and serval.
