Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara National park

Pick up from your Arusha hotel at 8:30 a.m. and head for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day wildlife drive. As you reach the national park, magnificent forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees set the tone for what's to come. The game drive will go till the evening, with a brief stop for a picnic lunch. While on the wildlife drive, keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. The tree climbing lions are another attraction of Lake Manyara National Park, although locating them is a matter of chance. During the correct season, the beach becomes pink as millions of flamingos flock there.

Day 2

After breakfast, we depart for the Serengeti National Park, passing through the stunning high-lying farms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the mountains behind, we descend into the Serengeti, the heart of untamed Africa, with its boundless grasslands stretching into the horizon as far as the eye can see. We travel to the Seronera part of the park, one of the richest animal habitats in the park, containing the Seronera River, which supplies a vital water source to this area and hence attracts wildlife representative of the majority of Serengeti species. We arrive in time for lunch and then go on a wildlife drive in the Serengeti National Park in the afternoon.

Day 3

Full Game Drive at Serengeti NP

You will start your day with breakfast at your lodge as you prepare to drive around the endless plains of Serengeti national park for the whole day. You will go for the morning game drive with your packed lunches and some of the wildlife species you will spot as you drive around the national park include elephants, lions, buffalos, wildebeests, antelopes, hippos and many others. As you explore the central part of Serengeti national park, you will also visit attractions such as the retina hippo pool where you will see many hippos in the water. You will have a short lunch break after your morning game drive.
After lunch, you will go on an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park to look for other animal species. Later, your guide will transport you back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

After breakfast at Matawi Serengeti Camp, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a 2-hour drive from the Serengeti, with a packed lunch. You will spend the entire day driving to the Crater, where you will view Rhinos, Buffaloes, Wildebeest, and several bird species. After lunch, you will continue on a game drive until when you will rise from a Crater to Arusha.
