Once you arrive, settle in at your lodge, and take in the tranquil beauty of this magical views waiting to take on the big day of trekking the next day.

Day 11

The morning is one of the biggest day of the trip. On this day we enter into the impenetrable forest of Bwindi for the gorilla safari. This activity starts at 8 o’clock in the morning. The trekking is carried out by the most experienced ranger guides within groups of up to 8 people who with gorilla trekking permits allocated. Your quest entails tracking down habituated families of mountain gorillas. Bwindi forest has a population of 560gorillas (based on 2018 surveys). It isn’t easy to predict the amount of time you will take before encountering the gorillas. However, once you do chance upon them, you’ll have an hour to observe and photograph them. Please ensure that you carry a packed lunch and water with you.

Begin the day heading to the central part of Uganda towards Lake Mburo National Park. The journey takes us through farms and vast plains we will have our lunch in Mbarara the land milk and honey. We will drive to the lodge check in and then in the evening embark on an evening game drive offering us a chance to see zebras, impalas, and other wildlife up close. This intimate experience allows you to truly connect with nature. Retire to your lodge at Hyena Hill or Eagles Nest, where you can relax in the heart of nature.

Today, you’ll begin your journey back to Entebbe. Along the way, stop at local craft markets for souvenirs or take a detour to Mabamba Swamp for birdwatching, where you might spot the rare shoebill stork. Upon arrival in Entebbe, check in at Cycad Lodge or Precious Guest House for your final night in Uganda, reminiscing about the incredible experiences you’ve had.

On this day we will head to one of the mostly conserved swamp known as Mabamba in search of the worlds endagered bird "the Shoebill" Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last moments of relaxation after this final exploration Uganda. Your guide will ensure a smooth transfer to the airport for your departure flight, leaving you with fond memories of your unforgettable Ugandan adventure. Safe travels!
