Today you arrive, and our representatives and the guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to Kibale Forest. A primate lover would want to spend more time with primates. The premier chimpanzee destination of Kibale, offers a day activity to spend more than just an hour in the presence of chimpanzees. Today, after breakfast, you shall join other groups at the Kanyanchu Visitors centre for briefing before you embark on the activity- Chimpanzee habituation. You will enjoy the involvement and not just be observers. After, you will drive for about an hour and a half to Queen Elizabeth National park for overnight.

Today is a big game day in Queen Elizabeth National park. We shall have an early breakfast and drive to the Kasenyi plains for a morning game drive. The area is crisscrossed by a labyrinthine network of game viewing roads in the short-grass savanna and we shall drive through in search of resident lion prides, leopards, elephants, herds of kobs, buffaloes, singing birds, and others of the 95 mammals in the park. Later in the afternoon after lunch, we shall do a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. The wildlife viewing here is excellent with animals that come to the banks to drink and also water birds. You have to keep eyes open for the monitor lizards and the Nile crocodiles. The boat trip last 2-3 hours. Later we return to the lodge for an overnight.

Today we go further in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth, Ishasha sector. Somehow this sector is removed from the rest of the park. It runs south from Lake Edward and on the flanks of Ishasha river and Congolese border. It is one of the alluring game viewing areas and best known for its population of tree-climbing lions. It is retains an untrammeled wilderness character and also supports herds of Kobs, buffaloes, warthogs, topi, waterbucks, elephants, baboons, Patas monkeys, among others. We shall have a game drive here before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.

Uganda’s single most important tourist hotspot is the 331sqk Bwindi forest that covers a rugged landscape of steep hills and valleys abutting the Congolese border south of Ishasha sector. The forest provides shelter to some of Africa’s diverse mammalian fauna that includes half population of mountain gorillas and the main activity here is gorilla tracking. Today we shall drive to the head offices of Bwindi Forest Park for orientation and briefing before we hit the trails for an amazing encounter with the mountain gorillas. The activity can last 3-8 hours depending on the location of gorillas.

Today, we wake up and have motorized boat ride on the Lake Bunyonyi as we tour the islands. The flooded valley has a total of 29 islands, and we shall visit the most historical and iconic ones. After we shall drive back to Kampala. An exciting journey with features like the Equator and crossing the most famous districts of Uganda. Arrive late evening in Kampala.
